Wyatt - The Medical Hot Mess

ALLERGIES:

• Bees

  • ​Lethargy​​

  • Hives

  • Rubbing against the floor insensately

• Med

• Foods

  • Cannot eat any traditional protein, must be on the hydrolyzed.

NAIL TRIM/VET APPOINTMENTS

• Twice a year

• Must be fully sedated

• Put soft muzzle on him AT HOME, then bring him to the vets. Always reward the muzzle with peanut butter. Need positive association.

• While sedated have anal glands expressed and teeth cleaned once per year.

• Current Doctor: Dr Pritts Wexford Banfield.

• Muzzle at home before ALL vet appointments.

• He does not like being 'held' or 'restrained' at the vets. Instead distract with peanut butter while the Vet does her checks.

• He cannot be a 'drop off' as his anxiety and aggression are too much. He must be seen In Room with his owner. 

MEDICATIONS

• Apoquel

  • Once daily​

  • If belly or paws are red and he is scratching a ton TWICE daily/5 days

  • Spray or cream hydrocortisone for his red itchy spots.

  • Benedryl for immediate allergies
